Nor moyle, Ordnance Base, San An — Continued on Sack Page_ Warning Issued To Selective Service Registrants “A fine of $10,000 or five years in prison, or both, is the penalty facing a person convicted of de linquency under Selective Service Act,” General J. Van B. Metts, State Director of Selective Service announced today. To further clarify the require ments, General Metts emphasized the following: “Every person who was re quired to register under any one of the six Presidential Proclama tions which have heretofore been issued, except those registrants in the 45-65 year old group, must have in his personal possession at all times a valid Notice of Classi fication in addition to his Regis tration Certificate.” Marion Palmer Ships Cattle Marion Palmer shipped seven fat stalled fed steers to the mar ket this week from the Palmer farm in Cooper’s Gap section of Polk County. BASKETBALL NEWS The Grasshoppers and Baptist basketball teams will play to night in the final game of the first half. Both teams are tied for first place.
